We’re building a Volunteer Marketing Team to help shape how Spark UK shares its story, campaigns, and impact. This team will play a key role in growing our digital presence, promoting national campaigns, and helping us reach more young people to spark conversations around mental health.
Rather than one person doing everything, you’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive team—each member contributing their skills across social media, campaigns, content, and digital marketing.
What You’ll Do
Depending on your interests and strengths, you’ll help with some of the following:
Contribute to Spark UK’s weekly social media and digital marketing strategy
Help plan, create, and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and more
Support the promotion of key campaigns, including Sparkie & Friends, Spark Youth, and Spark Schools
Assist with email newsletters and website content updates
Track and reflect on marketing performance (reach, engagement, growth)
Take part in creative brainstorming, campaign planning, and brand development
Roles and responsibilities can be shaped around your skills and what you’d like to learn.
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need to be an expert — just curious, motivated, and passionate.
This role is ideal if you:
Have an interest in marketing, communications, content creation, or social media
Enjoy using platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or tools like Canva
Have good communication and organisation skills
Like working collaboratively but can also take initiative
Care about youth mental health and Spark UK’s mission
What You’ll Gain
Real-world experience contributing to marketing for a national youth-led charity
Opportunities to build your portfolio and develop in areas like strategy, content, or analytics
A reference for education, volunteering, or future work
Flexibility to shape your role around your interests and availability
A welcoming, supportive team focused on impact and growth
