We are only 3 weeks into 2022, but what a chaotic 3 weeks it has been.
We started off the month by reflecting on the ‘ All-Star Advent Calendar’.
It was a chaotic December, however, we managed to raise a whopping £550 for young minds (although you can still donate if you haven't 😏https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/sparkmentalhealth). Although we can't find out exactly how many people viewed the calendar, we have estimated it was approximately 10,000 people. We had some truly inspiring videos and who would have known that Judge Rinder would have been Day 24?
We started last week by chatting to a group of researchers at Exeter University about Spark and Children’s Mental Health followed by an interview for an NHS project.
We were then approached by a production company to create a short film for BBC’s The One Show. This will hopefully be filmed and aired in April 2022 (More information will follow soon).
Conor and Bridie sat down with Liz Parks from Thrive to record an episode for their ‘Connected’ podcast talking about Spark, as well as the impact lockdown had on mental health.
The Team have also been working on developing numerous lessons on topics ranging from Self Care, Emotions and Mindfulness. We have also compiled issue 3 of the spark newsletter going out on Feb 1st.
We ended the week by booking our first 5 guests onto series 1 of The Spark Cast, as well as welcoming 2 new members to the Spark family.
I am really grateful for all the opportunities we are given and for the amazing team I have, that supports me in all my crazy ideas. We have plenty more planned for 2022 and can’t wait to get more people involved.

As you say, an amazing start to the new year as you continue to build on your successful past year. Keep up the good work and at this pace the benefits will be stratospheric.
